Odoo Developer

hands-on experience to develop, customize, integrate, and support our Odoo ERP environment. Our business operates multiple retail stores and POS locations with different payment methods, operational workflows, integrations, and custom Odoo modules. The developer will work on real business-critical systems covering POS, Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Payments, Purchasing, Customers, Reporting, and third-party integrations. We are looking for someone who can understand complex business requirements and convert them into stable, maintainable Odoo solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and customize Odoo modules according to business requirements. Customize and maintain Odoo POS for multiple retail stores. Develop solutions for different payment methods and payment workflows used across stores. Integrate Odoo with payment gateways, APIs, e-commerce platforms, delivery systems, and other third-party services. Customize Odoo modules including: Point of Sale Sales Inventory Purchase Accounting/Invoicing CRM Contacts Employees Reporting Develop new custom modules when standard Odoo functionality does not meet business requirements. Modify existing Odoo workflows without affecting system stability. Develop and maintain REST APIs and external system integrations. Work with Odoo models, views, actions, menus, security rules, scheduled actions, reports, and automated processes. Troubleshoot POS, inventory, accounting, payment, and integration issues. Analyze production issues and identify the root cause rather than applying temporary fixes. Optimize Odoo performance for environments with multiple stores, users, POS terminals, and large transaction volumes. Handle module upgrades, migrations, testing, deployment, and version compatibility. Maintain proper Git-based version control and development practices. Create technical documentation for custom modules and integrations. Coordinate with internal IT, finance, retail operations, warehouse, e-commerce, and management teams. Provide technical support for critical Odoo production issues when required.
